It all depend on your codecs.
Try to use CCCP codec-pack as described in FAQ
Sorry with all due respect that is not true. I tried another (free) software and it has zero problems with any setup. So the problem is with your software not with my setup.
I do not use any codec pack as in years of experience I found out that they tend to only mess things up. All I have are two players namely VLC and MPC HC. They both work just fine with any kind of video.
So I suggest that you go back, check and fix the problem. Thanks.
